My early training was in commercial and fine art photography. But never satisfied and always curious, I went a step further and explored alternative methods of creating images with film, images that possess a painterly, ethereal quality that straddle the boundaries between contemporary photography and traditional art. Working with alternative photographic methods such as image and emulsion transfer and kallitype allows me to push boundaries, play, experiment, and realize, ultimately, that this undertaking will always be a work in progress.
